Asi Keyi Territorial Park
The ultimate backpacking experience

An unparalleled backcountry experience in the immense landscape of Yukon’s newest territorial park.
Breathtaking landscapes, colossal mountains and an incredible amount of wildlife; experience a backpacking trip like no other.
After driving to the small community of Burwash Landing, we’ll take a picturesque floatplane ride over Kluane National Park and into Asi Keyi, a brand-new territorial park at the edge of Canada’s most mountainous terrain. Once the plane leaves, we’ll spend 7 days exploring this magical alpine landscape while taking in the awe-inspiring vistas of towering, ice-covered mountains reaching over 4500m. There are no trails or infrastructure in the park and instead, you’ll follow the trails created by moose, caribou, sheep and grizzly bears.
GLACIER FLIGHT ADD-ON: Detour to the Klutlan Glacier, an 80km long surging glacier on the northern edges of the St Elias ice fields, the biggest non-polar ice fields in the world. You’ll get spectacular views of the glacier and the “drunken forest”, a unique forest ecosystem growing on top of the glacier. This optional flight add-on is available for an additional fee.
Asi Keyi is situated on the Traditional Lands of the Kluane First Nation and White River First Nation.
