Intro to Yukon Hiking
New to hiking up north? Itching to go up to Tombstone’s Territorial Park, Kluane National Park or the back of Annie Lake road? Unsure about what to bring and how to prepare? Then this is the course for you!
Over the course of a weekend, we’ll cover everything you need go hiking out on the land. We’ll spend our first day in Whitehorse with a mix of indoor and outdoor classroom learning before heading out on the second day for a full day of hiking and skill development.

Refine and develop essential backcountry skills. Whether you’re a hiker, hunter, or outdoor enthusiast, these workshops are perfect for anyone who recreates in the wilderness. Class sizes are 2-6 participants.

-Wayfinder's Workshop: Map Making, Navigation, and Trip Planning-
Navigate on and off trail like a pro through this immersive workshop. We’ll start with an evening learning how to use powerful mapping software and weather forecasting tools to plan a hike. We’ll then put our planning to the test and go out on the Land to hone our navigation skills using a mix of old-school and modern techniques. Highly recommended for hikers and hunters of all levels.
-Tarpology 101-
Learn how to pitch a tarp in any terrain and never have a bad time in the rain again. We will cover different tarp setups, essential knots, and how to pitch with and without trees.

• Overnight backpacking trips (starting at 400$/day per group)
